Mission
Alyssa Mitchel is a San Francisco based choreographer who creates a unique style of movement that’s extremely physical, highly technical, dynamic and engaging. Her project values collaboration, connection and creativity. She brings together performers from all styles of dance, music, theater, lighting and costume design, and gives everyone a voice in the creation process. Her dancers’ movement backgrounds include ballet, contemporary, hip-hop, breakdancing, shuffling and circus. Integrating elements of math and science into her work, Mitchel incorporates storytelling and mindfulness to foster human connection.
